Roheen joined the A to Z Pediatric Team in July 2023. She always knew that she wanted to work with children, and when she found occupational therapy, she knew that she had found her calling. As a part of her doctoral experiential component in graduate school, she created and implemented a residency project, starting a Peer Mentoring Program for Youth on the Autism Spectrum at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After doing a rotation in an outpatient clinic, and experiencing the collaborative approach both with other therapists as well as with the children’s families, she knew that this type of setting and approach made the most sense to benefit the child as a whole, and has been working in outpatient pediatrics since graduating. As her career has progressed, she has worked with children with diagnoses including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, and Developmental Delay, to name a few. She has been a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association since 2016, and continues to look forward to furthering her knowledge and experience in the field.
Roheen lives in Sandy Springs with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys reading (she is a die hard Harry Potter fan), traveling, spending time with her friends and family, trying out new restaurants, and going to Pure Barre!
